Voile Panels – Control the sunlight
People mainly have curtains in their houses for controlling sun light, but in time curtains have become a really important home decoration element and mood setter for your room. Matching the curtains with the general setting of the room or on the other hand creating a clever contrast certainly makes for a better looking room. Not to mention the effects light has in this particular setting.
But what if you want all the decoration, mood setting and style completing elements without restricting the light flow to such a large extent? One of the best options is trying out voile panels.
Voile panels are a type of translucent curtains made from very light and flowing material which allows some natural light to pass through it.
Thus it acts like any curtain, keeping your privacy by not allowing clear images to form through it and having the added bonus of letting natural light pass to a certain degree in order to light the room. But if you do want to block light out completely, in addition to voile panels you should probably get some sort of thick curtains or blinds.
So they are mainly for decorating purposes. In addition to being used as curtains, they can also be flowing drapes or beautiful bed canopies for the more stylish persons. Actually, in this department, you only need to use your imagination to establish the range of uses for voile panels.
Voile Panels Standard Or Personalised
They can come with a variety of headings, either standard or personalized. But the voile panels themselves usually have standard
measured sizes, available only in a standard width. The panels come in two pieces; usually to he hung normally, parted in a two piece style. But if you want custom measured ones, you would need to resort to companies specialized in these panels and probably dig deeper into your pockets. However, standard voile panels can be hung in a variety of styles from simple, to layered, flowing and tied back Victorian style.
They can be hung on windows, on doors leading to porches or backyards or even on entrances within the house, if perhaps you prefer a more oriental style to your dwelling. But when being used on a window, being translucent or semi-transparent is a major and important characteristic. And I will explain why. I need not say that these voile panels can be found in any tone of colour, pattern, texture, style and pattern option there is on the market and the manufacturers’ imagination.
Thus imagine if you where to get a lilac coloured voile panel, and the light would pass through and touch the room’s surfaces in that lilac hue. It would be a beautiful effect, wouldn’t it? Of course, it depends on the painted walls that you have, but the principle works in most cases.
A patterned voile panel would perhaps offer some highlighted clouds to suddenly pouf into action when the curtain is pulled over the window. But the most beautiful effect would be given by a voile panel embroidered with a classic wallpaper style; so naturally, you would get the old, classy wallpaper effect in your room for free with the voile panels. That would indeed be grand.
I bet by now that you are convinced by the beauty of the presence of voile panels in your home. The effects that a flowing, soft and delicately adorned curtain like this has are unimaginable to those who see its potential.
